And globally, the economic and political center has shifted towards its historic center, Asia. The world 's most valuable company at this moment, Apple, is built on "thinking", not raw materials or production capacity. Thoughts and ideas has perhaps never been more important than now. The urban life is the norm, not just in the West but in a majority of countries worldwide. But what are the forces behind this development and what will it mean for nations, cities, regions and business?

The development of modern society is moving towards a T-economy where thought capital is the driving factor of production. In time, this trend will radically change both regions, companies and individuals, in some respects this is already underway.
