As competition intensifies and new technologies and new business models are reshaping industry after industry the urge for innovation seems to grow in strength. The question is how far it reaches into practice, how many companies live by how academics, consultants and visionaries learn? That was the question we had when we recently conducted a survey among managers in a cross section of industries within the Swedish industry.
At this breakfast seminar, we present the results of the survey in which 200 leaders in Swedish companies described their innovation in theory and practice. How good are they in innovating, what are the biggest barriers, and which are the main focuses for the upcoming years?
