In search of the measurable

What does the future survey landscape look like? In recent years, the response rates in all forms of surveys have gone down significantly. Even SCB (Statistics Sweden) alerts now that some material they supply to the government and parliament has severe trustworthiness limits. In parallel with this, other methods like online nethnography are growing. At the same time  survey results are often reflected in the media, which not always has the ability to assess the quality of the data. The question is what kind of survey landscape is waiting around the corner?
