The new generation of young people, also known as Millennials, stands out from earlier generations. Instead of being revolution-loving rebels they idealize the Smith life and dream about getting a good job and finding the Mr/Mrs right. For their older siblings, they may be perceived as provocative prudes.
When it comes to family young people are anything but short-sighted. They want relations that are so strong they will hold a lifetime. According to them, the achievements that are most worthy of respect are not making lots of money or saving the world, but being a good friend, being a good parent and keeping a family together for many years. The small dreams about settling down seem to be the dreams the young can hold onto in turbulent and uncertain times.
For more than two decades Kairos Future has examined young people's values, opinions and lifestyles. We know how they are as consumers, customers, employees, leaders and managers, and how they differ from other generations.
This is a lecture that can focus om many different areas about Millennials or previous generations. Contact us directly for more information!
