Dear reader!
Fall has come to Stockholm! The summer is over for this time. In
Sweden, we are already preparing for winter, perhaps even next year’s
spring or summer! The chances of getting the summer you wish for are
bigger if you start planning for it now, rather than in June 2008!
Preparing for the future, well in advance, will enable you to be in
control of your future, regardless of what you are planning – your
holiday or the strategic choices and actions of your organization!

COURSES
Kairos Future offers a wide range of courses within futures analysis
and strategic planning. Here are some examples of our courses:
Basic course in situational analysis
This course will give you the fundamental skills to apply basic
situational analysis successfully. The content of this course can be
directly applied to your work.
Basic course in scenario analysis
Learn how to use scenarios as a tool in practice! In this course you
will receive a concrete instrument/tool that will help you make the
future comprehensible to other people. You will also get tools that
will help you manage uncertain, external environmental factors in a
structured manner.
Creative innovation
This course will provide you with a framework for creating an effective
innovation process from both a theoretical and practical perspective.
This framework can be directly implemented in your own organization.
Effective research
Improve your research methods! This course provides both a general
framework of thought concerning the collection, structuring and
interpretation of information, and practical tips regarding how to
conduct and run effective research. It will put you in a position to
identify the most important information sources for your ongoing work.
Communicating situational analysis
This course will provide you with the methodologies and tools that will
enable you to, simply and straightforwardly, communicate the insights
you have gained from your situational analysis to the rest of the
organization.
Strategy development
Our niche area! This course will provide you with the methodologies and
tools for combining situational analysis with strategy development. As
a participant you will get an applicable system that can be transferred
to your own organization’s business activities. (Previous training:
Basic course in situational analysis or equivalent)
Many of these courses are held in Stockholm on a regular basis, but
Kairos Future can also accommodate requests for courses to be held in
other locations around the world.
